I am a first year English Student studying at the University of Cambridge.
I mainly work in graphite pencil, ink and watercolour; my palette ranges from subtle, dusky washes to dark, moody tones, but is almost always simple and uncluttered.
I take inspiration from churches, cathedral, and small English villages; when not in Cambridge, I live in a seventeenth-century farmhouse in Lancashire. I am fascinated by intricacy, and try to capture the details of  things often overlooked in my designs. My interest in history and literature also means my work usually involves a great deal of research.
I have recently completed illustration commissions for The Footlights, The Cambridge Student, and worked on publicity design for the CUADC production of The Tempest, as well as Trojan Women. I am a fortnightly columnist for Cambridge Creatives.
